Patience isn’t “white knuckling it” until the storm passes. Patience isn’t “enduring” until things work out.
Patience isn’t a natural fruit of human effort at all.
Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Patience is a benefit of grace.
Patience is the gracing to live His life within difficult natural circumstances because the Holy Spirit isn’t stingy with God’s abilities.
Someone said, “Life isn’t waiting for the storm to pass. It’s learning to dance in the rain.”
May I say it’s equally accurate to say, “Patience isn’t waiting for the storm to pass. Patience is learning to dance with the Holy Spirit while it’s raining.
